A Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has remanded the Peoples’ Democratic Party governorship hopeful, FARAH DAGOGO to Port Harcourt Correctional Centre.

Our correspondent reports that a seemingly unconscious DAGOGO was carried by four police officers into the courtroom, while journalists were barred from covering the proceedings.

But the federal lawmaker could not take his plea due to his ill health.

Recall that a Federal High Court yesterday granted the Bonny/Degema Federal Constituency lawmaker bail, and restrained the Commissioner of Police, and state agents from breaching his fundamental human rights.

Our correspondent reports that DAGOGO was brought to the State High Court today though he was due to appear before Justice CHINWENDU NWORGU of the same court on 16th May to take his plea.

After the proceedings, the counsel to State Prosecution, CHIDI EKEH, argued that the state government was not aware of a bail granted to the Bonny/Degema lawmaker at the court.

Also, FARAH DAGOGO’s personal physician, Doctor KENNETH who spoke to journalists said the state of health of his client was critical.
