Singer-turned-activist, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa fondly called Charly Boy was left with injuries to his face after he was involved in a scooter accident some days ago.

The ‘area fada’ took to his verified Twitter handle to share images of the injuries he sustained in the accident on Tuesday night.

In a tweet to his over 51,000 Twitter followers, the 70-year-old said, “see as I go fall on top my scooter Scatter my face.”

The biker however refused to lie in his sick bed just as he announced that he has resumed business almost immediately.

“Thank God am Healing, I hit the road today.”

The septuagenarian was also quick to hit back at trolls who ‘age-shamed’ him for riding the scooter.

“All those wey SORRY for me God bless una. All those wey yab me, dey call me Agbaya, biko allow me catch my cruise jare!!!”
