The national Association of Kelga Students yesterday hold her Kelga Student Pageant season 1 at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.

 

Students from various institution came to grace the occasion and to also vote their favorite contestant who maybe contesting for the position of Miss KELGA, Mr. Kelga and Pride of Kelga.

 

Globalvoice gathered that for anybody to qualify as a contestant, he or she must be a Rivers State University student, must be from Kelga (Kelga is a town in Ikwerre tribe in Rivers State).

 

The Kelga Student Pageant monitored by globalvoice, was a successful event as students were given the opportunity to showcase their God given talent in dancing, comedies and talkshow.

 

The event came to a conclusive end as winners emerged for the three (3) position after series of disqualification of the other contestants. Invitees were also not left behind as many were called to the open floor for a dance competition which winners also went home with cash prizes of #3,000, #5,000 and many more. Everybody went home with smiling faces as not casualty were recorded.
